Course Summary

Do health claims in the media leave you confused? One week the egg is a superfood, the next week it’s a health risk. Red wine: is it a lifesaver or a hazard? If you’re not trained in science, navigating the media’s reporting on health can be confusing and even frightening. It can be difficult to separate truth from hype. This short course will help you to demystify health stories in the media and provide the practical skills to evaluate these reports confidently.

Join expert guide Associate Professor Hassan Vally, health scientist and author, as he helps to empower you with the tools for increased health science literacy.
