Korean: Elementary 2

The following topic will be covered:

• Dates
• Money
• Ask and respond to the question “what are you going to do on the weekend?”
• Telephone conversations
• Daily routines
• Action verbs
• At the restaurant
• Likes and dislikes

By the end of this course students should be able to:

• use basic expressions for invitation;
• count money;
• engage in simple conversations and exchange information about addresses and telephone numbers;
• master the pure Korean numbers for counting objects;
• use essential verbs for activities;
• describe their favourite food and order them at a restaurant;
• have an understanding and appreciation of the values and customs of Korean people in relation to food and at dinner tables.

Korean: Elementary 1 or the equivalent of about 20 hours of previous study.

IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE PREVIOUS LEVEL AT CAE, YOU NEED TO CONTACT CAE FOR A SKILL ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO ENROLLING.
