In this introduction to Kintsugi you will learn the history of this art form and explore two different techniques – using ancient laquer of urushi and modern Kintsugi.
We will use modern materials such as epoxy glue and putty and a variation of traditional Urushi lacquer, to make it easy for anyone to learn.
Walk away with 2 to 3 beautiful hand made pieces.

What to bring:
Two to three ceramic pieces that are broken (if not already broken, you can break them in class). These will be used to learn technques so please don’t bring valuable pieces.
