Students will learn to understand and converse in Italian on general topics such as:
• Daily routine and work life
• Holidays and traditions
• Identifying family relationships
• Describing your family

By the end of this course you should be able to use Italian to:
• use expressions to describe your typical day, talk about your work life or describe your routine;
• engage in simple conversations to express the traditions or holidays you celebrate;
• describe your family;
• develop an understanding and appreciation of the values and customs of Italian-speaking communities;
• read emails, greeting cards and letters;
• write a letter to a friend.

Italian: Elementary 3 or equivalent of about 50 hours of previous study.

IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE PREVIOUS LEVEL AT CAE, YOU NEED TO CONTACT CAE FOR A SKILL ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO ENROLLING.

N.B. CAE withdrawal policy does not allow for refund or transfer once the course has started in the event that the level of the class is not suitable.
