Learn How to Edit With Adobe Premiere Pro

This course covers everything needed to get started with Adobe Premiere Pro. Topics include importing material, editing, trimming, adding titles, transitions and effects, mixing audio, managing projects and media, outputting digital media files for distribution to multiple platforms. With a hands on approach, participants will work with several styles of footage.

Course Outcomes

You will work with drama, documentary and TV Commercial footage to create 3 x edited projects. Skills attained include creating titles, transitions and a simple layered composition. You’ll acquire the ability to mix and edit audio, apply titles and effects, including an introduction to basic colour correction. Export a video file for web distribution.

Who is this course for?

This course is targeted at those who are looking to develop skills in video and audio editing for personal or professional projects.

This course is run using iMac computers.

Basic computer skills are essential. Apple Mac experience an advantage, but not essential.

Please bring along a pen and paper to each session to take notes.
