Course Summary
Cleaning Essentials is designed to provide skill development in a range of cleaning activities. Learners are introduced to cleaning methods; and tools and workplace health and safety principles.
Topics include:
· Clean Wet Areas
· Plan basic cleaning activities
· Maintain storage area and cleaning equipment
· Participate in workplace safety arrangements
· Clean and maintain different surfaces
· Sort, remove and recycle waste material
· Training and employment pathways
Sessions: five sessions, dates for terms 3 & 4 to be confirmed. Taking expressions of interest.
Locations: Blended learning – online via Microsoft Teams and classroom bases
Cost: Complimentary for Box Hill students (must be a permanent resident or have acceptable visa).
