Throughout the course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of shooting video on your mobile phone and editing it into a final video output, covering techniques such as:

Please note that while this class is suitable for beginners to mobile phone video production and Adobe Premiere, you will need basic computer skills. This includes using a keyboard and mouse (such as right-click contextual functions) and being able to navigate confidently within either a macOS or Windows environment.
This course does not cover these basic computer skills.

You will be required to bring your own mobile phone (up to approximately five years old), along with a charging cable compatible with the classroom computers (USB-A or USB-C). An optional gimbal may be brought to class; however, a demonstration unit will be provided. All required software will be supplied.

Please also bring a USB stick or portable hard drive to back up your work between classes, or alternatively use a cloud storage service such as Google Drive, OneDrive, or similar.

While optional, it is recommended that you bring a notepad and pens for note-taking or sketching ideas.

Suitable for students who want to add video creation to their portfolio, as well as small business owners or aspiring media creators looking to produce content such as video advertisements, product showcases, and promotional materials.

This course is designed for anyone with an interest in, and a passion for, learning the basics of shooting video on a mobile phone and editing footage in Adobe Premiere to create a completed video.
