This course will help you to build on your existing skills by using a range of techniques and materials to develop greater accuracy in your drawing. You will gain an understanding of light by completing guided exercises in charcoal on both black and white paper and enhance your drawings by the introduction of colour.

We will explore the subject of basic linear perspective and its applications in urban settings and practise simple techniques and exercises to help you draw basic human figures in their correct proportions.

The materials for this course will range from graphite pencils and charcoal pencils to Conte crayons on paper.

The overall objective of this class is for you to build a stronger foundation in drawing in a relaxed and enjoyable class environment.
