Course Summary

An Intermediate level employment-focused computer class aimed at further developing skills in using standard workplace computer software and functions (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Internet). Learners will also learn effective internet search skills, creating a resume and letter of application as well as accessing job sites and uploading applications.

  • Learn effective internet search skills
  • Become familiar with Google aps and Google Drive
  • Become confident with Word aps
  • Create professional documents

Prerequisite: prior knowledge in creating and saving new documents, basic formatting in Word & Excel & some confidence in using email & internet.

JANUARY INTENSIVE Monday to Thursday, 13th – 16th and 20th – 23rd January (8 sessions), 9.30am – 2.00pm

Term 1 Mondays, 3rd February to 24 March (no class 10th March Labour Day)  1.00pm – 4.00pm (also delivered on Mondays 9.30am – 12.30pm for people with mild cognitive disability)

Cost: Concession: $22.20 or Full Fee: $73.80
