Ready to take your smartphone photography to the next level? This masterclass expands on the fundamentals of smartphone photography by delving deeper into the art of creative composition and image design principles. You’ll learn advanced focus and exposure techniques, understand how to work with natural light, and so much more now at our beautiful Lilydale campus.
Ink & Watercolour Sketching in the Yarra Valley
This exciting course offers opportunities for sketching En Plein Air, from life, around Lilydale Lake. Artist Janet Hayes will show you how to create sketches in ink and use watercolour to add colour. Ink and watercolour are quick, easy ways to capture landscapes. This class provides a combination of exercises exploring different techniques with ink and watercolour, and creating finished sketches. Janet will interact with students to answer individual questions. For beginners and those who want to brush up on their skills.
On Yer Bike! Bicycle Maintenance for Beginners
Join our experienced bicycle mechanic at his workshop for an introduction to bike maintenance. This course covers the basics of bicycle mechanics and how to care for your bike, including how to adjust the brakes and gears, changing and repairing tyres, wheel alignment, cleaning and more.
Create a Black and White Portrait From a Photo
Artist Janet Hayes will demonstrate, step by step, how to create a beautiful black and white sketch on grey toned paper. You will learn the steps to create a unique portrait sketch with a believable likeness from your own photo.
