Course Summary
Tao Calligraphy writing is one of the fastest ways to self clear negative energy, and transform our mental and emotional blockages.

Through the practice of Tao Calligraphy, participants work towards an empowerment of soul, mind and body, as well as experiencing improved levels of stamina, vitality and immunity. You will increase your creativity, and achieve improved health. It is an ancient art, and a revered practice for discovering the life force of energy, well-being and happiness. Tao Calligraphy means Oneness in writing to embrace harmony and balance in mind and body.
Classes include a short meditation for calming the mind to facilitate learning, with relaxing music for seeking joy and inner peace. Students of this art will learn to write the characters ‘Greatest Love,’ ‘Greatest Gratitude’ and ‘Heart of Chinese Tao,’ to achieve yin-yang balance.
Through the practice of Tao Calligraphy, participants will work towards an alignment of soul, mind and body, as well as experiencing improved levels of stamina, vitality and immunity against emotional challenges.
Beginner level, everyone welcome.
You will need a brush and a water mat to participate in this calligraphy writing course. Ensure that you have the following basic supplies before the course begins. These supplies can be purchased from local stores and are also available online through Amazon.
- Medium sized mixed-hair brushes
Mixed hair brushes have mid-range flexibility which is better for beginners. A new brush has its hair glued together. To remove the glue layer, soak the brush in cool water, not hot water, until softened. - Reusable water mats
Brush and water, rather than ink, are used to write on a water mat. When the water evaporates, the writing disappears. Therefore, water mats can be used again and again.
Our teacher has recommended several Chinese supply stores, for your convenience:
- Po Hong, 601 Station Street Box Hill. (1 minute walk from Box Hill train station)
- Daiso stores (e.g. Ringwood, Melbourne, Doncaster, Box Hill, Dandenong, Chadstone, Richmond, Preston, Narre Warren, Maribyrnong). This material is of a lesser quality, but it will do if students don’t have access to the above option.
