Withdrawals
If you are unable to attend a course, we require at least four working days’ notice prior to the start date of the course. A $55 withdrawal fee applies for short course withdrawals. Short courses valued under $100 will only incur a $20 withdrawal fee. Refunds may take up to 15 working days to process. No refunds, transfers or credit notes will be issued for withdrawals when less than four working days notice is given. Please contact our customer service team on 9652 0611 for more information.
Transfers
If you wish to transfer between courses, you are required to give at least four working days’ notice prior to the start date of the course in which you have enrolled. Please contact our customer service staff on 9652 0611 regarding course transfers.
Course Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel any scheduled course. In the event of a cancellation, students will be notified two days’ before the scheduled start date and refunds will be provided. Refunds may take up to 15 working days. Classes are subject to sufficient enrolment numbers.
Course Alterations
We will make every effort to ensure that information is correct at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change or postpone courses, and to alter course schedules, locations, fees and teachers due to unforeseen circumstances.
Medical Attention
In the event of a personal emergency, sudden illness or accident you authorise us to seek medical, hospital or ambulance services on your behalf and at your expense where we (at their absolute discretion) consider it to be necessary or appropriate to do so. You agree that you will be solely responsible for any expenses associated with the provision of such services.
COVID-19
A condition of your enrolment is that you comply with Box Hill Institute’s COVID-19 safe processes when attending on campus and including off site activities. This may include being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, providing evidence of your COVID-19 vaccination status if required, including any booster shots for COVID-19. Other Important Information
We are required to apply the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on all courses not defined as an ‘educational course’ in the Goods and Services Tax Act 1998. All liable courses include the GST in the advertised fee. We reserve the right to change course schedules, locations, fees and teachers. Enrolled students will be notified of changes.
